About Kool Kids Daycare

Kool Kid Daycare is run by Sunila, a mother of three children. She is a former employee of the Gilroy Unified School District and also has experience working with children through the Kids Club program at the YMCA.

Sunila has a genuine passion for caring for children, and children naturally feel comfortable and happy around her. She is supported by two assistants who help with daily daycare activities and ensure every child receives attentive care. At Kool Kid Daycare, we provide a warm, friendly, and loving environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence.

Child Safety

We strictly comply with all state licensing and safety requirements. We maintain a clean, secure, and child-friendly environment at all times. Regular fire drills and emergency preparedness practices are conducted to ensure children and staff are ready for any situation. The safety and well-being of every child is our top priority.

Fresh & Healthy Meals

We provide healthy, vegetarian meals that are balanced and nutritious. Our meal plans follow recommended dietary guidelines to support children’s growth and development. We ensure that children receive wholesome food in a safe and caring environment.

Learning & Fun

We teach children alphabets, numbers, shapes, colors, arts, and crafts in a fun and engaging environment. Our program helps children build a strong foundation, so they are confident and kindergarten-ready when they graduate.

Friendly Place

We provide a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment where every child feels loved and cared for. We believe children learn best when they are happy and comfortable. Our daycare encourages learning through play, creativity, friendship, and positive interaction in a warm family-like atmosphere.






Working Hours

We are open Monday through Friday. Please note that we close for all Federal holidays, including the period from Christmas to New Year, as well as the week of the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and the day after Thanksgiving.

What We Offer

We engage children in a variety of fun and age-appropriate games that promote learning, creativity, and social development. Activities include indoor and outdoor games, group play, storytelling, music, and creative play. These activities help children build confidence, teamwork skills, and enjoy a joyful learning experience every day.

Our assistants and teachers are trained professionals with experience in early childhood education and childcare. They regularly complete mandatory training updates to stay current with best practices in child development, safety, and teaching methods. Their experience and dedication ensure that each child receives attentive, knowledgeable, and caring guidance in a nurturing learning environment.

Our learning program introduces children to alphabets, numbers, shapes, colors, arts, and crafts through fun and engaging activities. We use age-appropriate, play-based learning methods to encourage curiosity and early skill development. Our goal is to build a strong educational foundation so children feel confident, capable, and fully kindergarten-ready when they graduate from our program.

We provide healthy, home-made vegetarian meals that are balanced, fresh, and nutritious. We use fresh ingredients and prepare meals daily in our kitchen. We do not use frozen or packaged meals. Our meal plans follow recommended dietary guidelines to support children’s growth and overall development. We ensure that every child receives wholesome food prepared in a clean, safe, and caring environment.
